This appears to be a proof of an unapproved design! Notice the layout is
different. Quite possibly the only one like it. Interestingly, this has an
NSS stamp on the back, which is very unusual for a rolled one sheet. See
photo.

This is truly an
incredible find. When is the last time you saw a vintage ROLLED never folded
original one sheet from the 1960's of a highly collectible title? And when is
the last time you saw a printer's proof?
This is a
beautiful example of an original 27"x41" U.S. one sheet movie poster from the
classic "THE ITALIAN JOB". These are very difficult to find in any condition!
UNUSED!! NEVER FOLDED!!!
This is a two
color printer's proof (black and cyan). Before a poster was printed in large
quantities, the printer would print a limited number of test posters. These
would then be shown to people in a position to "OK" them. Once they were
approved, the final posters would be printed and the proofs normally were
destroyed. A printer's proof is far more rare than a regular one sheet poster.
As far as we know,
one of these has NEVER surfaced for this title!
PLEASE LOOK
CLOSELY AT THE COMPARISON PHOTO BELOW. The poster on the right is the finished
regular issue poster. THE PROOF HAS A DIFFERENT LAYOUT!!! This is an
unused/abandoned design, apparently it was changed for the final press run. The
text is different, the bikini top is drawn on the girl, and the map on her back
is slightly different.
Also, look at the
reverse side photo, there is an NSS stamp! This is extremely unusual to find on
ANY rolled one sheet. Interestingly, the final one sheet of this title that we
have that came from the same collection, does NOT have the NSS stamp on the
back.

This poster is
from a NEW FIND! This has NEVER BEFORE been in the hands of any collector!!
