your posters, why let your local framer ruin them? Most long time collectors
have learned the hard way NOT to trust their "local frame shop". They just don't
have the knowledge or proper materials to preserve posters properly. They say
they do, but they don't! The first thing most of them want to do is dry mount
them or use sticky tape on the back. They ruin or decrease the value of posters
90% of the time!! Whenever we get in a poster for sale that has been framed
previously, 9 times out of 10 there is some damage from the frame job.

These are the same exact frames the major studios use in their executive offices. These are the HIGHEST QUALITY

acid free materials are used with UV filtered Plexiglas (prevents fading). The
poster will sit loosely in the frame, encapsulated, so there will be NO DAMAGE to it.

WE SHIP FRAMES AND POSTERS
SEPARATELY
Both will be shipped fully insured so there is zero
risk. It is very easy to place your poster in our frame.
The reason for this is
because no matter how carefully we manage to package and secure our
frames, sometimes bad things happen. We use UPS to ship framed posters
and there is an approximate 10% chance that they will throw the box
around enough to damage the frame and the poster. We have had several
battles with UPS over the years trying to get reimbursed for a damaged
package and they will always find a reason to say no. They will gladly
take insurance, charging us extra when we ship a package. When a
package is damaged and it comes time to pay they will almost certainly
find a reason not to. And there is nothing anyone can do about it.
Please understand that if
you buy one of our frames for a very valuable poster and you insist that
we ship it to you framed
we will NOT be responsible if damage occurs during shipping. If your
poster gets damaged we will not reimburse you or give you credit and you
will not be able to get reimbursed from UPS.
If you want us to ship a
very valuable framed poster to you IT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
This only applies to
framed posters. All posters that are shipped unframed are always fully
insured against any damage or loss.

Warning:
We use
Plexiglas on all our frames. Glass is not recommended because over time it
may stick to the face of the poster. Shipping glass framed posters is also
very risky because they easily break ruining the poster.
Plexiglas
can scratch if not cared for properly.
Never clean your Plexiglas frames with
glass cleaner
(i.e. Windex). Glass cleaners contain ammonia and can harm the Plexiglas
surface. Use only water or a special cleaner made only for plastic surfaces. |
